Patridge says shed rather be a Renaissance wench than star in the movie version of Conrads book L.A. Candy (HarperCollins), which chronicles the lives of rich kids living in Los Angeles.
She explains, Itd be so much more fun to do a period piece instead of re-enacting the same show over and over. Been there, done that.
Patridge says people who think shes a dimwit on The Hills dont realize that she has a deep appreciation for European history.
In fact, her dream is to film a historical epic far away from Hollywood and her annoying co-stars Heidi and Spencer Pratt.
She adds, I really want to work on my accents, dress up in costumes, and try out some Renaissance fairs. Now THAT would be fun!
