Not all warriors for Jesus follow the word of the Bible blindly. In fact, in his book 10 Things I Hate About Christianity: Working Through The Frustrations Of Faith (X- Media), Jason T. Berggren admits the many things about his faith that annoy the bejesus out of him.
For example, other Christians.
The author says Christians who “misrepresent God” and act “self-righteous” are a thorn in his side but an inevitable part of the culture.
Berggren also has a hard time with one of the Lord’s main messages – “love thy neighbor.”
He admits that loving fellow man is “a bit difficult” for him, especially when the bills come in, saying, “It doesn’t matter how centered I am, I’m gonna be mad.”
Despite his issues with the religion, Berggren isn’t a fair-weather follower, says, “Anything you care about, you have love/hate patches with.”
