To celebrate the theatrical release of Julie & Julia starring Meryl Streep as Julia Child the renowned chef who introduced French cuisine to mainstream America Le Cordon Bleu Schools North America is hosting an online cooking class today with Top Chef winner Stephanie Izard at the helm.
At 2 PM EST, Izard will host an interactive class where shell provide step-by-step instructions on how to make two dishes inspired by Child and the film, Beef Bourguignon and Chocolate Chiffon Pie.
Students can watch the action streaming live at chef.edu/JulieandJulia, join in the coversation, and ask questions along the way by following on Twitter.
Like the famous culinary queen, Izard is a graduate of the Le Cordon Bleu program.
Julie & Julia hits theaters nationwide this Friday (Aug. 7).
