Renowned movie critic Leonard Maltin gives his expert opinion on upcoming flicks in Leonard Maltin’s 2010 Movie Guide (Plume) – out this month – and about the treats he munches on while watching movies.
Leonard, who’s celebrating his 40th anniversary as a movie reviewer, names Raisinettes as his movie treat of choice and often makes them his companion at his local cineplex.
Enjoying his other favorite movie snack isn’t always so rewarding.
He says, “I’m a fan of soft pretzels, but they’re usually rubbery at the movie theaters. I have to be desperate to eat one, and sometimes I am.”
Since dropping 20 pounds, however, Maltin doesn’t indulge in his favorite movie snacks as much.
That doesn’t keep him out of the movie theater though.
Maltin says he much prefers his smelly, teen-filled local cinema to watching DVDs at home because it gives the full movie experience.
