In the early ’90s, Mayim Bialik played quirky, eccentric Blossom Russo on the popular sitcom, Blossom.
Her character was known for having vivid dream sequences that often included famous guest stars, and one of Bialik’s favorite celeb encounters was truly out of this world.
She recalls being “extremely excited” about working with ALF – the furry, beloved TV alien – in one episode.
Luckily, ALF was “really cool” and didn’t disappoint the starstruck teen.
Bialik was also in awe when she worked with Cosby Show mom Phylicia Rashad and music legends Little Richard and B.B. King.
She explains, “I was a huge music fan.”
But not every guest star struck a cord with Bialik.
Since she was so young, she didn’t always know who the guest stars were and had to be reminded by producers.
Blossom, seasons one and two, are now available on DVD.
