Actor Recounts Weather Woes

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Actor David James Elliot is truly a man for all seasons.

Elliot – best known for his work on JAG – stars in The Storm, a miniseries about catastrophic weather premiering this Sunday (Jul. 26) on NBC.

Since he grew up in Canada, Elliot knows a thing or two about inclement weather.

He recalls having a slew of snow days back in grade school, shoveling sleet in the mornings, and enduring the cold, chilly winds.

Once he moved from Canada to Los Angeles he traded snow for earthquakes.

He’s also experienced scary conditions in the Bahamas, where he owns a home, and recounts, “I’ve stared down the barrel of a few hurricanes there.”

Despite the wrath of Mother Nature, Elliot feels it’s important to keep up with today’s environmental issues.

He finds it’s alarming how much the weather in Canada has changed since he was a kid, with less and less snow due to global warming.
