Woman Celebrates 10 Years Of Skipping

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – It’s been a long, strange skip for one San Francisco woman over the last 10 years.

For an entire decade, Kim Corbin has made it her mission in life to make skipping popular through her website iskip.com.

This Sunday (Jul. 12), she’ll celebrate her 10th anniversary of skipping with a “skipping mob” in San Francisco’s Union Square, where a big group will skip to their heart’s content.

Looking back, Corbin has had many ups and downs while spreading the gospel of skipping.

She recalls, “The beginning of the adventure was a major mountain top moment. Then I quit my job to do it full time and skipped myself into financial ruin.”

No matter how tough it’s been, the “Chipper Skipper,” as she’s known, says her devotion to skipping has never wavered and still believes the happy hop will make the world a better place.

Corbin hopes the next 10 years will be just as exciting, and plans on writing a book on her experiences skipping all over the planet.
