Minista Paul Scott, who discusses “hardcore news and views with a gangsta attitude” on his website nowarningshotsfired.com, is ready to take back the airwaves from small-minded right-wingers in conjunction with Juneteenth – or Jun 19 – the day the slaves were emancipated.
Scott is taking to the Internet and the street to get the Fairness Doctrine, which forces radio stations to give equal air time to conflicting opinions, re-instated so racist commentators like Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, and Rush Limbaugh can finally be silenced.
He says, “I want to shut them down. If it was up to Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh, we’d still be in the fields picking cotton.”
If the Fairness Doctrine is re-instated, Scott says, “I’ll be able to verbally pimp slap Bill O’Reilly every time he says something I don’t like.”
