Verdict’s In: Lawyers Win ‘Amazing Race’

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – All of the contestants on The Amazing Race fought the law, but the law won.

This past Sunday (May 10), sibling duo Tammy and Victor Jih – litigators from California – were crowned champions of The Amazing Race, and both argue that their experience in the courtroom was a big factor in their victory.

Tammy explains, “I’m used to working under extreme pressure with little to no sleep. Being able to make my mind work even when I was extraordinarily fatigued and stressed on the race was definitely something I got from being a lawyer.”

Though Victor admits 14 years of “pulling all-nighters but still being able to think clearly” as a lawyer helped them win, in some situations the team’s brilliant minds were completely useless.

Victor sarcastically jokes, “I think being a lawyer prepared me to carry oily pigs, push a wheel of cheese up a hill, and wear leotards and Speedos.”
