Urkel Has Left The Building

HOLLYWOOD (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Believe it or not, Steve Urkel is making a comeback.

That’s the word from Darius McCrary, who played Urkel’s friend Eddie Winslow on the popular ’90s sitcom, Family Matters.

The show aired for eight seasons, and McCrary and Jaleel White – who played the nerd with a million catchphrases – have remained close.

So close, in fact, that they are pitching a reality show about a “real family matter” and McCrary’s music career.

Although the new show will discuss their past sitcom characters, McCrary says Urkel is a sensitive subject for his buddy.

He laughs, “Jaleel is sick of people coming up and saying ALL his catchphrases! When you see him, don’t call him Urkel!”

However, McCrary says he doesn’t mind when people refer to him as Eddie Winslow, and adds, “He’s my buddy. Eddie Winslow made me a lot of money and we had a lot of good times.”
