Steve Wilkos Shocked By Today’s Teens

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Tough guy Steve Wilkos has seen it all, but today’s teenage girls are throwing the TV host for a loop.

Tomorrow (Mar. 26) and Friday (Mar. 27), a special two-part episode of The Steve Wilkos Show will air nationally, in which Wilkos talks to teenage girls about their modern-day concerns and problems.

The ex cop and former head of security for The Jerry Springer Show was “shocked” to hear what teen girls are going through, which includes pregnancies at age 14.

He says one of the biggest concerns among girls is drug use because most of them feel awkward talking to their parents about it.

Wilkos says talking with 200 teen girls in his studio was a real “eye-opener” and prepared him for the years ahead with his own kids.

Though his daughter is only five years old, Wilkos knows she’ll be a teenager someday, and he’s ready to tackle that angsty stage.

He says the best thing a parent can do is “listen and communicate” with their kids.
