Lee who plays a doting daddy on ABCs new comedy In The Motherhood, premiering Thursday (Mar. 26) ran his own kiddie daycare in Georgia for a few years before breaking into showbiz.
He took care of about 25 kids who were 12-weeks-old to eight years old, alongside an all-female staff.
Though he was good with the tots, Lee will never forget the fear he felt the first time he had to change a dirty diaper.
He laughs, The women staffers walked me through it, and I was just all thumbs. That first time was so confusing!
However, three months later, Lee was crankin out diapers like a pro.
Lee entertained the kids by performing silly skits during playtime, which helped him hone his acting chops.
He gushes, I just loved making them laugh. That was a wonderful time in my life.
Lee hopes the lessons he learned from his daycare days will come in handy when he becomes a father someday.
