World’s Deadliest Yard Game Is Back

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Lawn Darts have made a mark in the world of backyard games, and the deadly pastime is back.

Lawn Darts – where sharp, foot-long javelins are flung into the air towards a target – have been outlawed in the U.S. for 21 years due to related injuries and deaths.

However, they’re finally back with Target Toss Pro: Lawn Darts, a video bar game that launches on St. Patrick’s Day (Mar. 17).

According to TTP marketing director Gary Colabuono, this version of Lawn Darts is “100 percent safe,” and much easier to play.

The controller lets players simulate tossing, and the game even features the sights and sounds of real backyard Lawn Darts.

It has an adjustable feature called “raw talk” that Colabuono says will “remind of you of your drunk uncle.”

He explains, “When you throw a dart and miss badly, you’ll hear F-bombs. If you hit the bull’s eye, you hear ‘Fin’ A, you rock!’”

The game even has a tournament mode, and Colabuono anticipates this will be a hit among groups of buzzed St. Paddy’s revelers.
