Pro Wrestler John Cena Belongs In The Barracks

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If he weren’t pulverizing people in the wrestling ring, John Cena would be serving on the frontlines.

The WWE champion recently took part in WWE Tribute To The Troops – which premieres tomorrow (Dec. 20) on NBC – where professional wrestlers traveled to Iraq to perform for the men and women of the armed forces.

Cena says wrestling for the troops is his favorite gig because he deeply respects the brave, patriotic soldiers.

If he hadn’t gone into wrestling, Cena would’ve enlisted himself, though he’s not sure he could “hack it” in battle.

But the soldiers seem to think he’d make a hell of a warrior.

Each year when he visits Iraq, Cena is flooded by soldiers who give him their military coins and combat patches as a thank you.

Cena is always honored and choked up by their offerings, which to him, are the “highest forms of flattery.”

He’s such a “sucker” for military souvenirs that each year he visit Iraq, he brings back an empty bullet shell filled with dirt from the warzone.
