Being An Old Man Has Its Advantages

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Outplaying, outsmarting, and outliving earned one reality TV winner a million bucks.

High school physics teacher Bob Crowley was crowned the winner of Survivor: Gabon this past Sunday (Dec. 14), making the 58-year-old the oldest Survivor champ in the show’s history.

Though many would think being a mature man in the harsh African landscape would spell a loss, Crowley is proud to have proved everyone wrong.

He says, “My age gave me an advantage. Everyone thought of me as an old man, which made it easier to fly under the radar. No one considered me a threat.”

Crowley is proud of the game he played and is using his million-dollar paycheck to finally spoil his wife rotten.

He explains, “My wife and I never went on a honeymoon, so I’m taking her on one. I want to take her back to Gabon, but this time we’ll be tourists.”
