Robbie Rist who starred on the venerable shows last season is now branching out into horror movies with Stump The Band, a slasher flick about three guys who follow a band of female musicians in order to cut off their feet.
Rist describes the film as creepy-funny more than spooky-scary and says the most frightening part about making it was finding the money.
He says, People think it looks like it was made for $500,000, but it was made for much less than that.
Although Stump The Band doesnt feature cameos from Rists fellow Brady Bunch co-stars, Danny Cooksey from Diffrent Strokes plays a bad guy and contributed to the soundtrack.
The movie has received rave reviews at various film fests and is now available on stumptheband.com.
If the film is a hit, Rist is hoping to start on one of the four sequels hes already written.
