Ambitious Traveler Completes Crazy Mission

SEBRING, Fla. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One cross-country trekker is finally going home after doing everything he’s ever wanted to do.

For 16 months, self-described “amtrekker” Brett Rounsaville has traveled across America fulfilling 50 tasks he’s always wanted to try, including wading in a cranberry bog and riding an ostrich.

On October 25, Rounsaville finally completes his mission in Fresno, California, and he’s inviting everyone who’s made his trip memorable to come celebrate.

He says, “Friends, family, and people from the road are coming out for a party. I can’t wait to see everyone. I’m sure it will be raucous debauchery.”

Rounsaville says his road trip taught him that people are “so much nicer than I thought they were” and says, “I’ll probably always be the guy who lets people crash on his couch and picks up hitchhikers.”

He also wants to encourage others go on similar trips and is open to helping them complete their own lists.

He says, “I’d like to repay people for their generosity.”
