Size Does Matter: Bicycle Seats Cause Erectile Dysfunction

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Viagra isn’t the only solution to impotency, changing the seat on your bike helps too.

That’s according to sexual medicine physician Dr. Irwin Goldstein, who’s been studying the effects of bicycle seat designs on sexual health, including erectile dysfunction.

He says the size of your bike seat may determine the size of your erection, and standard seats with protruding noses are harmful to a man’s sexual function.

Since standard “saddles” cover less area, they cause bikers to experience intense contact pressure in the crotch region, which leads to erectile dysfunction in men, and labia and orgasm problems in women.

Goldstein says shorter, wider, noseless seats reduce pressure in the perineal area, making biking more safe and comfortable.

He explains, “Using a noseless seat could actually improve a man’s erection. Usually you need Viagra for that, but we’ve found a simple, natural way to improve sex lives.”

Goldstein says tell-tale signs you need to change your bike seat are numbness of the crotch and lack of sensation during sex.
