‘My Boys’ Jam Sessions Turn Rowdy

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The cast of My Boys rocks – a little too hard!

Reid Scott – who plays radio DJ Brendan Dorff on the TBS comedy series – actually plays guitar in real life, and holds jam sessions on the set of My Boys with his fellow musically inclined co-stars.

He’s brought his electric guitar and mini amp to work before and rocked out with co-star Jamie Kaler, who plays the acoustic guitar, and Michael Bunin, who’s a whiz on the drums.

Last season, they even invited a My Boys intern to sing in their band – and the jam sessions got rowdy.

Scott says, “We’d play songs outside our trailer, and people from other sets would walk by and stop to sing along. We’d get pretty loud, until executives came over and told us to shut the hell up!”

But Scott’s love of music can’t be completely silenced.

His onscreen character is constantly rockin’ vintage band T-shirts, which sometimes come straight from Scott’s own personal wardrobe.

The season finale of My Boys airs tonight (Aug. 7) on TBS.
