Artist Creates Highest Popping Toaster

LONDON (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A wacky inventor in London is breaking bread by making his food fly.

Earlier this month, British artist Freddie Yauner set the Guinness World Record for the Highest Popping Toaster, which sent toast flying seven feet, 11 inches, using his own toasting creation, “The Moaster.”

The Moaster is part of Yauner’s “Because We Can” project in which he attempts to take regular objects to the extreme by making them “the biggest, the best, and the fastest” they can be.

He says, “The popping part of a toaster is completely unneeded, so I wanted to take it to complete excess.”

Yauner believes the Moaster is something people may want to purchase for their own amusement, though he warns, “If you use it at home, your toast will smash against the wall and be completely ruined.”

Yauner hopes to make his out-there invention his bread and butter, and has also crafted the world’s fastest clock and longest lipstick.
