The Piper & Blue brand at Kmart has released a line of sweatpants that allows young girls to boldly proclaim where they stand on the issue of pre-marital sex by having the pro-abstinence statement True Love Waits printed over the pelvis and across the buttocks.
Despite carrying the anti-sex sweats in stores and online, spokesperson Amy Dimond says Kmart doesnt care whether girls give it up or not.
She explains, We dont have a formal opinion on abstinence, and its a personal preference, whether they buy the sweats or not.
Though Kmart does sell products touted by pro-abstinence teen stars like Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers, the Disney stars wont be pushing the abstinence attire.
Dimond says, We havent sent the clothes to them or asked them to be spokespersons. We probably never will.
