This past Sunday (May 11), Fields who competed in Survivor: Panama came in third in the season finale of Survivor: Micronesia Fans vs. Favorites.
Now that shes home, Fields is finally getting a chance to chill by heading to the hospital.
Fields is the operating room coordinator at Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, Connecticut, and while she admits the O.R. is a tough job, she says, After I leave I get to go home, eat, and sleep in a real bed.
Fields credits her emergency room experience with preparing her for the show, saying, Theres 52 staff members here, and they all have something to complain about. Thats basically what Survivor is.
And shes even found some unexpected fans at work.
She says, There will be patients rolling through with IVs hanging from their arms, and theyll stop and say hi before going into surgery. Its pretty sweet.
