Those whove lost their mom can still wish her a happy Mothers Day according to Sinclair Browning, author of Feathers Brush My Heart: True Stories of Mothers Touching Their Daughters Lives After Death (Warner Books).
Browning says grieving children can ask their deceased mom to get in touch with them from beyond the grave by attempting to contact them three times a day for one week.
She explains, You have to say Mother, I miss you. Please check in out loud. Your mom will send you a sign that shes there, but you have to be open to it. It can be a vision of her, an object that means something to you, or just a feeling.
Browning says the otherworldly connection can bring comfort, and even help around the house.
She says, I call on my mom to help me find lost objects in my house. Its pretty useful, and I think she enjoys helping.
