‘Survivor’ Cast Off Hungry To Hit The Courtroom

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One reality show reject is bringing her “survival” skills straight to the courtroom.

This past Thursday (Apr. 10), Eliza Orlins was voted off Survivor: Micronesia – Fans vs. Favorites.

Orlins – who previously competed on Survivor: Vanuatu – is a third-year law student at Fordham University, and believes the social side to Survivor will help her once she becomes a lawyer.

She says, “I’ll be able to read the jurors, and see if they’re making alliances.”

While Orlins plans to take her TV toughness into a trial, law school wasn’t enough to prepare her for the madness of Micronesia.

She says, “It’s so miserable, I was hungry all the time. I even dreamt about food. Law school was a different kind of misery but at least I could have a bowl of pretzels next to me.”

Survivor: Micronesia airs Thursdays on CBS.
