Singer Hears His Voice In Chocolate Box

PHILADELPHIA (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Ladies will be hearing the sweet sound of music in their box of chocolates this Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14).

Whitman’s chocolate company is serenading romantics with their limited editing musical box of chocolates that features the song “Something in your Eyes” by balladeer David Martin.

The tune, which features sweet, loving lyrics like There was something in your eyes/ Now I see it was your love for me, marks the first time the chocolatier has partnered with an artist since Elvis Presley.

But anyone hoping to get their hands on a singing box of sweets will have to get in line at their local Walgreens store.

Martin says, “My family is cleaning out Walgreens. My mom is going in and lifting all the boxes, saying ‘That’s my boy!’”

Though the candy crooner has romanced his own lady with the sweets, he’s made sure to serenade a few men as well.

He says, “I sent one to all the guys that played on the record. They won’t think I’m hitting on them though. They know I’m happy at home.”
