‘Quarterlife’ Actress Learns To Walk The Walk

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – To get into character, one rising starlet had to learn to walk the walk.

Actress Bitsie Tulloch is the star of Quarterlife, an Internet series that’s been made into an NBC TV show about a 20-something-year-old blogger who spills her friends’ deepest, darkest secrets online.

Series creator Marshall Herskovitz describes Tulloch’s character, Dylan, as an “Isolated, messy girl – kind of like Pig-Pen from the Peanuts – whose hair is always a mess, and just can’t get her sht together.”

The Quarterlife character is very different from Tulloch’s real life demeanor, so to become Dylan, Tulloch started from the inside out, scrubbin’ up her look and even creating a signature “Dylan walk,” to match her character’s personality.

She explains, “At first, Marshall told me I was too cute to play Dylan, but I told him I could do it. I made up this boyish, childish walk and became more fidgety. I was so into character, I started walking from the set to my trailer just like Dylan!”

Quarterlife premieres February 26 on NBC.
