Roadkill Recipes Are A Gag That Gags

AUSTIN, Texas (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One joke website is making roadkill ridiculous.

Roadkills-R-Us is a joke company that provides roadkill-based products and recipes to raccoon-loving hillbillies on their website,

And according to creator Miles O’Neal, rednecks are eating up the idea of home-cooked critters – and asking for seconds – despite the fact that it’s all just a joke.

He says, “We put joke recipes up that are really disgusting. But then I’ll get emails from people asking for more roadkill recipes. I just direct them to The Roadkill Cookbook (Ten Speed Press).”

O’Neal, who started the wacky website 14 years ago, says he tries to steer away from eating car-killed critters because “you never know what you’re going to get with roadkill” and fears catching “Avian flu or something” from a furry feast.

But he admits he’s given in to tire-tracked temptation.

O’Neal says, “I have had deer sausage from someone who hit the deer with his car, but that was the only time.”
