Chowing Down Doesn’t Lead To ‘Survivor’ Crown

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Tradition, travel, and taste buds weren’t enough to keep one reality show contestant on camera.

Peih-Gee Law was voted off Survivor: China this past Thursday (Dec. 13), and the reality show reject says even though she was sent packing, her Asian ancestry helped her, especially in one chewy challenge.

One challenge required the Survivor squad to eat a chicken fetus, but Law’s heritage made it an easy poultry pill to swallow.

Law says, “I had a leg up being Chinese – we eat all kinds of crazy things! I actually liked it, and I’m sorry, but if you’re that hungry, you’ll eat anything. A lot of people complained that it was unfair, but you have to play to your strengths.”

And although she chowed the Chinese treats, Law says it was difficult most of the time because there wasn’t much food.

Still, she managed to make the most of her Asian adventure.

Law says, “I’ve backpacked in Southeast Asia, and lived in the same hot and humid environment. So I took it a little easier. I had a blast, trying to be like MacGuyver out there. They were calling me ‘Queen of the Jungle!’”

The Survivor: China finale airs tonight (Dec. 17) on CBS.
