Music And Movies Get Together, Everybody Behaves

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – When you put Hollywood divas and big wigs of the music biz together, everyone wins.

Movies Rock is a prime-time special airing tomorrow (Dec. 7) on CBS, that honors the marvelous use of music in movies, with performances from divalicious singers like Beyonce, Fergie, and Mary J. Blige.

And while you’d expect egos to clash, according to music coordinator David Paich, the prolific performers were all on their best behavior.

Paich says, “Fergie was one of the most professional people I’ve ever dealt with. Jennifer Hudson was extremely professional, and Usher blew me away. It was an eye-opener to see how professional all the young talent was.”

And for Paich – a seven-time Grammy-winning producer and songwriter, and former member of Toto – hearing his own hits on the big screen is still an eye-opening experience.

He says, “It’s funny, whenever I turn on the radio or hear one of my songs on TV, I turn into a little kid and run over and listen to it! I don’t think you ever get used to it.”
