Don’t Hire Friends Or Family To Work Your Wedding

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One professional wedding planner has an important piece of advice for brides-to-be: Don’t hire your friends or family to work at your wedding!

Angelique Sobschak is one of the wedding planners on WEtv’s reality show, Rich Bride Poor Bride, and she says the most common mistake made by blushing brides is relying on family members for professional wedding services like photography, music, and cakes.

Sobschak explains, “This is how friendships get ruined! If the bride doesn’t like her pictures or wedding cake, there could be serious personal problems on what’s supposed to be a happy day. It’s much smarter to hire professionals and keep your friends and family on the guest list, not the vendors list.”

And while Sobschak has planned weddings with budgets varying from $2,000 to an extravagant $100,000, she insists that you don’t need to break the bank to have the wedding of your dreams.

To save some marriage money, Sobschak says to economize on wedding flowers, which in her words, “Guests probably won’t remember anyway.”

Sobschak suggests using fruit, candles, or edible centerpieces instead of flowers, to utilize your dollars and get multiple uses out of decorative items.

A new season of Rich Bride Poor Bride premieres this Sunday (Dec. 9) on WEtv.
