‘Amazing Racers’ Hope To Keep Love From Running Out

SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – They may have tackled tough terrain from Ireland to Africa, but now two reality-show rejects are battling to keep their romance running strong.

Jason Widener and Lorena Segura got the boot from The Amazing Race this past Sunday (Nov. 25), and the couple admit the revealing race brought out the good, the bad, and the gross in both.

Widener says, “The hardest part of the race was dealing with the diarrhea!”

And while Segura says her and her beau pushed to make it through the tough race together, she adds, “it brought us closer, but dealing with getting eliminated has been hard.”

Widener puts a sarcastic spin on their rocky relationship, saying, “We’re going through a little bit of a tough time right now. You know, it’s Christmas time – everyone breaks up.”

But Segura jumps in, adding, “He’s going too far. There’s no breaking up, not yet.”

The Amazing Race airs Sundays on CBS.
