Get Whacked At The Lizzie Borden B&B

FALL RIVER, Mass. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One historically haunted bed and breakfast in Fall River, Massachusetts, has folks hitting the sack where others got whacked.

On August 4, 1982, in Fall River, Abby and Andrew Borden were hacked to death with a hatchet, and their daughter, Lizzie Borden, was accused of the crime, but later acquitted of all charges.

Since then, the house of horror has opened its doors as the Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast, and welcomed guests to rest in peace in the Borden home.

But manager Lee-Ann Wilber assures guests there’s nothing to fear.

She says, “I don’t consider the place creepy. It’s a nice, old Victorian house that has issues. I don’t like to say it’s haunted, but we have had our share of experiences, like furniture moving. You know, little things.”

Despite its bloody history and haunted happenings, thrill seekers still take a swing at a stay.

Says Wilber, “A little axe murder doesn’t scare anyone away.”
