Presidential Candidate Knows His Role

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A Hollywood media expert has the scoop on one small-screen star’s shot at the White House.

Michael Levine is a Hollywood media expert and author who has analyzed actor-turned-Republican candidate Fred Thompson’s website to see how it reflects his role in the heated push for the presidency.

According to Levine, Thompson – who in May stepped down from his role on Law & Order to focus on his campaign – is using his TV tactics and neutral website to help him push ahead in the polls.

Levine says, “Thompson knows that on logical grounds he’s not necessarily the best candidate, but he knows that he has an emotional appeal to lots of people.”

While Thompson’s site stays savvy by not revealing any strong stance on the issues, Levine says once the race gets heated, Thompson and his website may be in hot water.

Levine says, “What’s going to get him elected is his likability. Once he starts taking a stance, then he’s going to have issues.”
