Elmo Spends Time With Celebrities

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Lovable Sesame Street muppet, Elmo, has been teaching kids life lessons for decades, but soon the furry red monster will be learning a few lessons of his own.

Elmo will be teaching pre-schoolers all about literacy when the 38th season of Sesame Street premieres on PBS Kids next Monday (Aug. 13), but the mega muppet will also be bustin’ a move, playing football, and snacking with some fun celebrities.

Elmo enjoyed filming segments for the kiddie show with many different celebs but admits he was particularly smitten with 30 Rock star, Tina Fey, who in his words, “was very funny and made Elmo laugh a lot.”

But Fey had some competition for Elmo’s affection when he met cooking queen Rachel Ray, who shared interesting foods with Elmo.

Says Elmo: “Miss Rachel Ray was very nice to Elmo and taught him about pumpernickel. Elmo ate pumpernickel and it was so yummy!”

But it wasn’t just the ladies that spent quality time with the perky puppet, in fact, R&B star Chris Brown and players from the NFL’s New York Jets taught Elmo how to move and groove.

Elmo explains, “Chris Brown taught Elmo how to dance and Elmo learned some good moves from him! Elmo played football with the New York Jets and learned to always stretch before you play.”
