Staind Frontman Not Suffering From Band Withdrawals

BOISE, Idaho (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Normally there’s “no I in team,” but for Staind frontman Aaron Lewis there’s an exception to this rule.

Lewis is currently taking a break from the band to tour the country on his own and admits he loves the silent treatment.

Says Lewis: “I hate saying it, but I love touring alone – I don’t miss the other guys at all – it’s just so nice and quiet on the bus.”

In fact, the homebody rocker loves the quiet atmosphere so much that he hardly gets off the tour bus, unless someone convinces him to go to a lake or golfing. Instead he prefers staying onboard so he can tinker with his guitar collection.

But although he loves the solitude, Lewis admits there is one noise he misses while on tour – the sounds of his young daughters running around the bus.

He explains: “One is five and the other is two and they love hearing me play – I miss having them around and being my biggest fans.”

Lewis wraps up his solo tour in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, on August 29.
