Elvis Keeps ’Em Coming Back

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One Elvis Presley aficionado is turning his love for The King into a toe- tapping tribute.

The Bluegrass Elvises are a raucous rockabilly and bluegrass band who lend their fingerpickin’ finesse to classic Elvis tunes on an album titled The Bluegrass Elvises, Volume One, which hits shelves August 7th.

And for guitarist and singer Shawn Camp, creating a rockin’ record of The King’s songs is a lifelong dream that’s leaving him ‘all shook up.”

Camp says, “I’ve been to Graceland at least 50 times. I’m not nuts, but I’m pretty close. Everytime you go there, you learn something else.”

While Camp sings the King’s praises on his new CD, he hopes fans “Don’t Be Cruel” to his country-fied spin on the classics.

Camp says, “I think Elvis would be proud of it. We didn’t do it in a cornball way, we’re not trying to insult anybody, we’re just having a good time.”
