Burger Lovers Drop A Beat

DUBLIN, Ohio (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If you love burgers, music, and sizzlin’ sounds, then Wendy’s has the perfect contest for you.

In conjunction with their new extreme hamburger, “The Baconator,” Wendy’s is hosting a contest on, where wannabe musicians can sample burger- themed soundbites and mix them into their own original songs.

Among the clips are sounds of bacon popping and grills sizzling, and the best songs that incorporate the delicious beats will win a mouthful.

Nine runners-up will win $500 and free Wendy’s burgers for a year, while the creators of the two freshest, hottest tracks will win $5,000 and a free trip to a studio session with music producer Michael Hudson, who will help get their songs ready for radio release.

But if you’d rather build your own burger than burger beat, Wendy’s has another contest option.

Now through August 15th, folks can log onto and create their own custom Wendy’s burger.

From salsa and guacamole to sauerkraut or teriyaki sauce, burger inventors can choose among 54 different ingredients to make the burger of their dreams.

The burger winner will receive $25,000 along with a chance to potentially have their burger added to Wendy’s menu.
