‘My Boys’ Actors Compete For The Last Laugh

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The actors on the TBS comedy series, My Boys, have a hilarious rivalry on the set – literally.

That’s the word from My Boys star Kyle Howard, who says the biggest dispute among his comedian co- stars Jim Gaffigan, Michael Bunin, and Jamie Kaler is over who gets the last laugh in a scene during taping.

Says Howard: “The guys are constantly competing for jokes during filming. Mike [Brunin] and Jamie [Kaler] always want the last laugh, and they try to throw a bunch of improv jokes into scenes, which is usually really funny. They’re very entertaining to watch!”

And while guys’ battle of the jokes has everyone on the set cracking up, Howard says the horsin’ around gets some serious recognition when the episodes are edited.

He explains, “A lot of the improv stuff we do or say actually makes it on the show. It’s cool because the funny scenes end up looking pretty effortless.”

The second season of My Boys premieres July 30th.
