To ensure a great grill get-together this Independence Day, make sure you clean your grill and fire it up to a scorching 500 degrees before cooking.

Mackey says, If it can be eaten, it can be grilled.
As a grill guru, youd think Mackey would be cooking up some hot and haute cuisine, but even the experts need to kick back and relax with some mundane meat once in a while.
Mackie admits, My favorite things to grill are hot dogs and bacon. Theres no splattering grease, and you wont stink up the house.
