Take The Heat And Get Out Of The Kitchen

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If you’re manning the grill tomorrow (July 4), make sure you’ve got your burgers set up in a row.

That’s the hot tip from Judy Mackey, a barbecue expert at Weber grills, who says most meat mishaps come from poor planning, lack of patience, and overcrowding the grill.

To ensure a great grill get-together this Independence Day, make sure you clean your grill and fire it up to a scorching 500 degrees before cooking.

But as far as what you grill up, the choice is yours.

Mackey says, “If it can be eaten, it can be grilled.”

As a grill guru, you’d think Mackey would be cooking up some hot and haute cuisine, but even the experts need to kick back and relax with some mundane meat once in a while.

Mackie admits, “My favorite things to grill are hot dogs and bacon. There’s no splattering grease, and you won’t stink up the house.”
