‘Young And Restless’ Star Restless To Begin Singing Career

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Adrienne Frantz stars on The Young And Restless, and that’s a pretty good description of her career goals right now.

Frantz, who plays both Amber Moore and her rock singing twin sister, April Knight, has just released her debut CD, Anomaly, and is restless to get it out to the world.

She jokes: “I feel like this record is 12 years in the making,” but says her time on the show helped her musically by giving her techniques that helped her perform in the recording studio.

As she puts it, “Acting helped teach me how to get back to the place I was when I was writing the song.”

Frantz is proud of the album and is looking forward to going on tour to promote. However, she is quick to add that she is getting nothing but support from the Y&R producers.

In her words, “Soap operas are great for actors and actresses who can sing. They’ll try to write it in the plot. And I’ve talked about touring and the producers have said, ‘Go ahead. Take as long as you want.”’

Anomaly is currently only available online at www.wrongrecords.net, but says it will be available in stores next month.
