The two sisters appear in Grindhouse, playing a pair of bad ass babysitters who have to save the world from a zombie attack.
The roles were personally written for them by Rodriguez, who once hired them as babysitters when they were trying to break into show business.
However, there are few, if any, similarities between themselves and their characters.
For instance, Elise says she and her sister have never smashed up a car that belonged to a customer although she did enjoy filming that scene.
Says Elise: Breaking the windows of a car makes you feel really powerful.
But some of the scenes were a real pain for Electra, such as one where her co-star, Marley Shelton, literally kicked her out of the house.
As Electra puts it: She kicked my back, and her heel dug into the flesh. I was bleeding for three hours and still have the scar. Marley felt bad about it. She kept holding me all night apologizing.
Grindhouse, which was also directed by Quentin Tarantino, opens in theaters tomorrow (Apr. 6).
