‘Team Guido’ Still Has Nightmares About ‘Race’

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Contestants on Amazing Race: All Stars don’t get much sleep during the competition, but that doesn’t mean the show doesn’t haunt their post-show dreams.

That’s what life partners Joe Baldassare and Bill Bartek discovered after they were kicked off the show Sunday (Apr. 1).

The two – who go by the nickname “Team Guido” – say after they were kicked off, they still would have dreams about the challenges – especially the “yield” rule, which allows contestants to halt another team in their tracks.

Bartek says they were so worried about the new rule they could hardly sleep during the actual race because they were afraid someone would use it on them.

Says Baldassare: “We tried to be a kinder, gentler version of Team Guido and keep the catty comments to ourselves because we didn’t want someone to use it against us – that yield rule was always in the back of our mind.”

Despite filming the show months ago, Bartek says they’ve also had dreadful dreams about the “killer fatigue” and long flight delays.
