Only Fresh Costumes For New Improv Show

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – David Alan Grier and Dave Foley both made names for themselves dressing up in outrageous costumes, but you won’t see any of their outfits on their new show.

Grier, who starred on In Living Color, and Foley, who starred in Kids In The Hall, are both heading a new improv show called Thank God You’re Here, which features celebrity guests dressing up in random costumes and acting out ridiculous scenes.

Although the costume greatly determines how the scene will go, both actors say audiences shouldn’t expect to see any of the outfits they’ve worn on their respective sketch comedy shows.

Explains Grier: “There was a major theft during the first season of In Living Color. A bunch of the Fly Girls got their stuff stolen and they think it was an inside job. So you won’t be seeing any of that on this show.”

Foley also admits his Hall costumes would probably not fly with producers of Thank God, mainly because they’re “so old that they’ve actually started to decay.”

As he puts it, “They must have been made of papyrus or something.”

Thank God You’re Here premieres April 9 on NBC.
