John O’Hurley Happy To Be King Arthur

LAS VEGAS (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The man who played J. Peterman on Seinfeld now considers King Arthur to be his crowning achievement.

John O’Hurley – who danced to fame on the first Dancing With The Stars – is tackling the role of King Arthur in the Las Vegas production of Monty Python’s SPAMALOT, a musical based on the 1975 film Monty Python And The Holy Grail.

O’Hurley is thrilled to be cast and credits the original show with molding his sense of humor.

He says his version of Arthur will dance more than others, but says the key to playing the role is “to be a man who realizes that the only reason he is King is because he’s the one that looks best in the suit.”

SPAMALOT is currently in previews before it officially opens March 31 at the Wynn Las Vegas.

O’Hurley will be with the show until September, but hopes to be as associated with the play as Yul Brynner was with The King And I.
