John OHurley who danced to fame on the first Dancing With The Stars is tackling the role of King Arthur in the Las Vegas production of Monty Pythons SPAMALOT, a musical based on the 1975 film Monty Python And The Holy Grail.
OHurley is thrilled to be cast and credits the original show with molding his sense of humor.
He says his version of Arthur will dance more than others, but says the key to playing the role is to be a man who realizes that the only reason he is King is because hes the one that looks best in the suit.
SPAMALOT is currently in previews before it officially opens March 31 at the Wynn Las Vegas.
OHurley will be with the show until September, but hopes to be as associated with the play as Yul Brynner was with The King And I.
