Anything Can Happen On ‘Medium’ – Except Crossovers

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Anything can happen on the NBC series Medium – except crossover episodes.

That’s the edict from Medium producer Glenn Gordon Caron, who says that he gets offers from other shows to have their characters make guest appearances.

Some of the show’s that have been interested include Crossing Jordan, The Ghost Whisperer and Gray’s Anatomy – but he refuses them all.

He feels that since Patricia Arquette’s character is based on a real person, psychic Allison DuBois, having her talk with a fictional character like Jennifer Love Hewitt’s ghost whisperer would hurt the show’s integrity.

Arquette is flattered that other shows want to work with Medium but she’s okay with Caron’s decision. As she puts it, “I feel my plate is full with this, without having to learn another show.”

Medium debuts for its third season on Wednesday (Nov. 15).
