Why Won’t People Stop Wearing Ripped-Up Jeans?

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – You think you’ve got problems? They’re nothing compared to what fashion expert Ashley Baker has to deal with on a daily basis.

She’s an editor for Glamour magazine and constantly has to deal with the fashion faux pas making the mag’s popular “Do’s And Don’ts” column.

Baker says Glamour has been providing the public service since its very first issue in 1939 and says times have changed enough that, these days, “it’s now OK to wear white after Labor Day.”

But despite some fashion flexibility, Baker is adamant that some trends should never ever be in style, such as mesh clothing or ripped-up denim.

She laments: “Yet they keep coming back, no matter what we say.”

These days, Baker is having to fight another fashion foe: Women who wear leggings as pants.

Baker hopes to combat future fashion disasters with a new book, Glamour’s Big Book Of Do’s And Don’ts (Gotham Books).
