Former Mouseketeer Happy He’s Not On Celebrity Treadmill

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera are just three of the famous faces who first appeared on The Mickey Mouse Club.

And while they may be successful, they’re probably not as happy as fellow Mouseketeer Tony Lucca, who is a singer/ songwriter who just released his third solo album, Canyon Songs.

Lucca has taken great pains to avoid the celebrity treadmill ever since he cut down on acting gigs ten years ago in order to concentrate on music.

It was because of shows like Mickey Mouse Club and Malibu Shores Bucca says he started coming to terms with, as he puts it: “Who I was versus what I was becoming.”

In fact, it wasn’t until he started exploring the California lifestyle by “doing mushrooms on the beach or smoking a little more pot,” that he started following his musical path.

He may not be selling like Aguilera or Timberlake, but figures since his songs can be performed acoustically, he doesn’t need to spend money to hire dancers or have a light show.
