Thats because during the third and fourth inning of the Rochester Red Wings baseball game, more than 5,000 people will don the comedians trademark glasses and mustache in an attempt to beat the world record for most people to wear the head gear at one time.
The current record was set June 4, 2005 in New South Wales, Australia, when 1,437 Rugby fans wore the glasses during a match.
But in order for the record attempt to be taken seriously, the participants have to follow several guidelines. There must be at least four witnesses at the event, everyone must give their signature and the glasses have to stay on every face for more than ten minutes.
The stunt is the brainchild of company host Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, a non-profit medical organization who uses the legendary shades in a new ad campaign that targets the importance of buying generic drugs with the tagline: Brand-name drugs are just generics in disguise.
