Dwayne Wade Wins NBA Title – Of Dunkadelic Players

BALTIMORE (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Dwayne Wade not only helped the Miami Heat to an NBA championship this year – he also fired up a “Dunkadelic” team of all- stars for his explosive, difficult slam dunks.

This according to a homegrown system of points assigned to “highlight reel” dunks created by Derrick Vaughan, which he tallies up each year to compile in his “All- Dunkadelic Team” of NBA power players.

This marks the second year Vaughan has announced the all-star team of power slammers – and according to his system, Wade led all dunkers with 455 points, while Shawn Marion of the Phoenix Suns and LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers came in second and third, respectively.

Rounding out the Dunkadelic squad are Vince Carter and Kobe Bryant.

Vaughan says the entire season is taken into account but that “only especially spectacular or difficult ‘highlight- reel’ dunks are counted.”

He adds, “The dunk has to be shown more than once, usually two or three times, during the game and on ESPN or Fox Sports highlight shows after the game.”
