Nothing Says Love Like Sucking Brains From An Eye Socket

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – When you’re an actress married to a horror film director known for extremely violent movies, true love knows no bounds.

That’s what director Stuart Gordon learned while filming his 1986 cult hit, From Beyond, with his wife, Carolyn Purdy-Gordon.

During one scene, the script required an actor to suck brains out of the actress’ eye socket, a scene that was so grisly it was eventually cut.

Gordon admits he’s murdered his wife many times in his movies and, at first, it bothered her.

However, he says she changed her mind when she realized the murder scenes were the “money scenes,” the ones that got all the attention.

Now, Gordon laughs that whenever he films a violent scene without his wife, she asks, “Don’t you love me anymore?”

By the way, the legendarily gross brain sucking scene has been restored to From Beyond and will make its world debut on June 10 on the Monsters HD cable channel.
